Getting older holds unique problems. A simple thing like getting the groceries back home is problematic. It is always nice to see folks helping one another.

Crossing intersections at traffic lights (or robots as we call them) in Pretoria can be problematic. Pedestrians cannot wait for a green light before they cross, they have to watch the traffic at all times. Red traffic lights facing the oncoming traffic does not necessarily mean that the motorists are going to stop.
